La parola Vietnam per anni associata unicamente ad una immagine di crudele guerra combattuta nella giungla finalmente lo è ora, anche per l’Occidente, a quella di paese dal gran fascino e tradizioni, reso ancora più affascinante dalla mescolanza di popoli e culture, con un paesaggio di una bellezza straordinaria, basta pensare al delta del Fiume Rosso a nord, al lago Hoan Kiem, le grotte di Hang Hai, il delta del Mekong a sud e l’intera fascia costiera costellata di verdi risaie. Ma è un paese di grande fascino anche per il patrimonio artistico nazionale che fonde elementi indiani, cinesi e francesi in uno stile unico e proprio, che ha quindi origine dalla sua storia antica. Entreremo nelle tradizioni e cultura attraverso la visita del Museo Etnografico della capitale, lo spettacolo di marionette sull’acqua, la visita di un villaggio rurale per scoprire le loro tecniche di cultura, le visite ai mercati locali, insieme a templi, pagode, case-tubo, giardini, raccolte di bonsai, piantagioni, siti storici. Caratteristica e figlia di questo mosaico di culture è anche la cucina tipica, alla quale saremo introdotti grazie alla esperienza di cooking class che faremo il terzo giorno, con conoscenza dei prodotti nel mercato e poi in cucina accompagnati e guidati come sempre. Ma anche nei giorni successivi assaggiando frutti di mare freschi a bordo di una stupenda giunca di legno, con gamberi, maiale alle erbe aromatiche, frutta tropicale. Ci stupirà anche vedere come questo paese sempre più si dirige verso una certa modernità.

prima colazione in hotel - visita della città di Hanoi (Pagoda di Tran Quoc, Tempio della Letteratura, un tempo Prima Università del Vietnam) - esperienza cooking class (andremo alla scoperta del Mercato di Hanoi, in una coinvolgente mescolanza di sapori, luci, voci e colori e poi in piccoli gruppi accompagnati da un cuoco e dai suoi assistenti, realizzeremo alcuni piatti tradizionali) - pranzocon i piatti realizzati e altre portate tipiche - nel pomeriggio visita del Museo dell’Etnografia e passeggiata a piedi per scoprire la vita quotidiana della città, assaporando alcuni cibi locali - si prosegue con una divertente escursione in van elettrico o risciò nei dintorni del Lago Hoan Kiem e attraverso il quartiere dei 36 mestieri - visita del Tempio di Ngoc Son, le famose case-tubo lunghe più di cento metri, le pagode - cena in hotel - serata libera - accompagnatore a disposizione - pernottamento.
prima colazione in hotel - partenza alla volta della provincia di Ninh Binh - arrivo e trasferimento al molo di Tam Coc -letteralmente 3 grotte-, dove a bordo di piccole barche a remi si attraversano in circa 90 minuti, campi di riso e lo spettacolare scenario di picchi rocciosi, tra canali e vegetazione - pranzo in ristorante - nel pomeriggio si continua in barca per rientrare al molo - proseguimento per la visita della Pagoda di Bich Dong e poi il Tempio dei re Dinh e Le, del Regno Dai Co Viet, nel X e XI secolo - cena in hotel - serata libera - accompagnatore a disposizione - pernottamento.
prima colazione in hotel - partenza per Halong - imbarco immediato per una crociera di 20 ore sulla Baia diHalong , Patrimonio Unesco , a bordo di una stupenda giunca in legno - pranzo e cena saranno serviti a bordo e saranno a base di gustosi frutti di mare freschi - pernottamento a bordo della giunca.
prima colazione in barca - al mattino proseguono le visite delle tante attrattive della Baia di Halong - brunch a bordo - rientro al porto e sbarco - nel pomeriggio trasferimento all’aeroporto di Hanoi attraversando distese di risaie lungo il delta del Fiume Rosso - partenza per Hue con volo di linea - all’arrivo trasferimento in hotel - cena in hotel - serata libera - accompagnatore a disposizione - pernottamento.
prima colazione in hotel - giro in risciò sulla strada che costeggia il fiume e arriva fino alla Pagoda di Thien Mu - sosta per la visita di una casa con un giardino tipico della città di Hue Patrimonio Unesco, costruita secondo le antiche norme della geomanzia: sarete avvolti da una piacevole sensazione di serenità e pace - visita della pagoda - a seguire visita del Mausoleo di Minh Mang - pranzo in ristorante tipico - nel pomeriggio visita della Cittadella Imperiale e mercato locale di Dong Ba - cena in hotel - serata libera - accompagnatore a disposizione - pernottamento.
prima colazione in hotel - partenza per Hoi An passando per il famoso “Colle delle Nuvole”, che offre sulla sua cima uno stupendo panorama sul litorale - breve sosta fotografica sulla spiaggia di Lang Co , superba lingua di terra che arriva sino al mare dove si potrà fare una breve passeggiata - arrivo ad Hoi An - passeggiata in auto elettrica per visitare il villaggio rurale di Tra Que, famoso per le sue erbe aromatiche - pranzo tipico in ristorante con degustazione della specialità del villaggio - visita della cittadina di Hoi An Patrimonio Unesco - passeggiata per le stradine della città, alla scoperta delle case cinesi datate più di due secoli, il ponte giapponese, il tempio cinese, la casa di Tan Ky - cena in hotel - pernottamento.
prima colazione in hotel - partenza per la visita del complesso dei Templi Cham, Patrimonio Unesco , risalente ai periodi dal IV al XIII secolo del Regno Cham - pranzo in ristorante tipico a Da Nang - nel pomeriggio trasferimento in aeroporto - partenza con volo di linea per Ho Chi Minh - trasferimento in hotel - cena in hotel - serata libera - accompagnatore a disposizione - pernottamento.
prima colazione in hotel - partenza per My Tho , cittadina sulle rive di uno dei bracci principali del fiume, da cui ci si imbarca per una crociera sul Mekong - visita della Padoga di Vinh Trang - navigazione lungo il fiume attraverso 4 isole - sosta all’Isola degli Unicorni e visita di una piantagione di frutta - pranzo in ristorante - nel pomeriggio tempo libero per giro in bicicletta nel villaggio di Tan Thach per assaporare la vita quotidiana nel delta del Mekong - in serata rientro ad Ho Chi Minh - tempo libero per shopping - cena in uno Skybar a due passi dal centro, bellissima location dove trascorrere una serata magica, godendo di una vista mozzafiato sull’intera città - pernottamento.
prima colazione in hotel - al mattino visita di Saigon (Cattedrale, ufficio postale, tempio cinese del Buddha di giada) - partenza per Cu Chi - visita del villaggio sotterraneo di Ben Duoc a Cu Chi , una vasta rete di gallerie sotterranee e di stretti tunnel scavati dai Vietminh nella guerra contro i francesi e in seguito dai Viet Cong durante la guerra del Vietnam contro gli Americani - tale rete si trova 3-4 metri sotto terra per 200 chilometri di lunghezza, ben organizzata con delle sale riunioni e infermerie - è considerata, oggi, uno dei più grandi siti storici della Guerra del Vietnam - pranzo in ristorante - trasferimento in aeroporto - partenza con volo di linea Turkish/Emirates per il rientro in sede - pasti a bordo - notte in volo.
